How To Add Cover Photo/Hero Image On Uber Eats

Unlike GrubHub and DoorDash, logo is not used for any display within the Uber Eats platforms to restaurants or eaters. The cover photo is also called Hero Image.

Below are the guidelines to follow when updating your hero image on Uber Eats:

Please make sure your image is:
  • An aerial shot
  • Sized 2880 width x 2304 height
  • Bright and in-focus with no harsh shadows
  • Centered, leveled, and properly cropped
Additionally, please make sure the image you submit has the following:
  • Depicts multiple food items (at least 3)
  • Has a proper and sanitary background
  • Does NOT show any people or faces
Once you have taken your photos, please email them to restaurants@uber.com.

Their team will need to review the Hero Image to make sure it fits their brand standards before uploading them. Once approved, they will get them uploaded to your menu right away.
